Going along with the title of my blog, I figure I should log my freak cooking injuries. Last night, I was planning to cook something and opened up a lower cabinet to get a pan. Right when I opened the door, a cookie sheet shot out of the cabinet and violently hit my toe, resulting in much pain and gauze. I would like to think that I'm the only person who could manage to stub their toe on a cookie sheet, but maybe I'm wrong (and I feel sorry for whatever person has also had this fate).
Anyway, I didn't end up cooking. That seemed like a bad way to start.
